Cookie Became an Institution

In 1995, our shared passion for artisan breads inspired us to open a small neighborhood bakery on West 74th Street in New York City. Not long after, we baked our first batch of BIG, hearty, gooey cookies. When The New York Times described them as “what may possibly be the largest, most divine chocolate chip cookies in Manhattan,” our humble shop quickly became a local sensation — and we’ve been baking ever since.
